１．Question regarding Power of Attorney

Why the power of attorney is in favor of an Individual name and not in favor of a firm name?
Furthermore, in case there are several patent attorneys working in the same firm, can a POA be in favor of several patent attorneys?

Under the Japanese Patent law, the person who can take the procedure before the JPO on behalf of applicant resident abroad(an overseas resident) is limited to either a patent attorney or a patent professional corporation (patent attorney corporations).
Therefore, a patent attorney is only person who could act before the JPO.
Please note that it is possible to list several patent attorneys in the Power of attorney in case there are several patent attorneys working in the same patent firm.
